Handcrafted from part of an oak whisky barrel lid this cheeseboard makes a stunning & unusual centrepiece on any table, the lid has been sympathetically sanded to show the grain of the wood whilst still showing some of the signs of the original scorching of the barrel, the board is then treated with food safe oil which brings out the natural colouring of the wood.

Large enough to have cheese, crackers & grapes on at the same time when not being used a a cheese board it also makes a stunning fruit bowl/platter. The handles have been made from part of one of the barrel rings giving the cheese board a rustic look.

As every barrel is different & wood is a natural product all boards will vary slightly in colour, markings and appearance making each one individual & unique.

The cheese knife has been made from Sheffield steel & part of a whisky barrel stave which still shows the indent where the barrel lid used to sit.
